Dr. Tener Huang is a board certified pediatric dentist. Having received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from NYU, Dr. Tener went on to study at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she was the first graduate of a dual degree program, receiving both a Doctorate in Dental Surgery as well as a Masters of Public Health through the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She went on to complete a pediatric dental residency at the Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry, where she served as chief resident and also received an additional Masters in Oral Biology. Throughout her career, Dr. Tener has remained committed to the advancement of pediatric care in her community and abroad. She has participated in dental missions in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic, treating underserved children. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Tener has served as faculty at Columbia University teaching first year dental students, conducting community outreach, and continuing dental public health research. A native of New York and New Jersey, Dr. Tener currently lives in Westchester. She enjoys her time with friends, family and her Havanese puppy. Her greatest passion second only to dentistry is traveling, having been to over 40 countries and counting.
