Dr. Ye Jee Shim is a general dentist committed to providing quality dentistry and contemporary care. She is recognized for her thorough, compassionate and individualized care of her patients of all ages. Her goal is to encourage and guide patients on their journey to healthy smiles and lifestyles.
Dr. Shim received her undergraduate degree from New York University in Biology and Chemistry. She continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she went on to complete her General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry including oral and periodontal surgery, endodontics and prosthodontics.
Dr. Shim participates regularly in continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and maintain progressive skills in general dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking, hiking and photography.
